There are 5 things you must know:

1.  We have all sinned.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

We are all sinners by nature and by choice.  God sees all of our actions, thoughts, and even motives.

He sees the things we do and the places we go.  We all feel guilty and ashamed of things in our lives.

2.  We have a penalty for our sin.

“For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23a)

Sin must be paid and God says that the payment is death.  According to the Bible, there are two deaths:

3.  Christ paid the penalty for us.

“But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  (Romans 5:8)

God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to pay for our sin penalty on the cross.  He

was spit upon, beard-plucked, mocked, and crucified.  He loves you!  He died, was buried, rose from

the grave after three days, and is in Heaven awaiting your decision.

If you were the only sinner in the world, Jesus would have died just for you!

4.  We can have the Saviour.

“...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  (Romans 6:23b)

God sent Jesus as His free gift to us so we could receive Him and one day live in Heaven forever.

A gift can’t be bought or earned.  It can only be received.  Forgiveness does not come through baptism,

church, or good deeds; it only comes through receiving Jesus once and for all as a GIFT by believing

and receiving unto salvation.  Yes, Jesus did die for everyone...but not every person is going to

        Heaven...only those who receive Him.

We either receive or reject Christ.  There is no in-between.  No one is born with Him in their lives.  He

is a gentleman and won’t come into our hearts until invited.

To be honest, most people have never had a definite time and place to accept Jesus once and for all

into their lives.  If it had ever happened to you, you would remember it!  If you were to die unforgiven

and without Christ, where does the Bible say you’d go?  Is that what you want?

5.  We can have the Saviour.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  (Romans 10:13)

Heaven IS a Free Gift...

Jesus is willing to take you just as you are.

Would you be willing to accept Him now?

Just ask Him...

Dear Lord, I know that I’ve sinned and I’m sorry.

I realize I deserve hell-fire if I were to pay for my sin.  I know you love me and died on the cross to pay for my sin and to purchase my salvation.  I now receive you Jesus Christ as my Saviour and ask you to save me from hell-fire. Please give me a home in Heaven and help me to learn more about you.  Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer to receive Christ as your Saviour, we would love to know about your decision. Simply fill out this form and let us know that you have received Christ as your Saviour.  If you are also interested in receiving more information about growing in your new relationship with Christ, please let us know and we will send you some helpful resources.

Physical Death - God already knows the day we will die.  We cannot avoid it; we can only prepare for it.

Spiritual Death - When a soul dies without Christ, he pays for his own sins and goes to Hell forever (by the way, Hell was not created for us but for the Devil and his demons).  God does not want anyone to go to Hell.  A person chooses to go there by rejecting God’s gift of eternal life.
